Biography

• Laju Atake is a Senior Transactor, Debt Capital Markets at Rand Merchant Bank Nigeria Limited. He has over 10 years’ financial service experience in Nigeria and across Africa with roles spanning Investment Management and Investment Banking.
• He managed investment portfolios of High Net-Worth Individuals, Institutional Investors and Collective Investment Schemes worth over USD100 million across multiple asset classes (including but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Alternative Assets and Shariah Compliant Funds). He has also led and participated in several landmark Debt Capital Markets transactions for the public sector and Corporates across different sectors with aggregate values in excess of USD3.5 billion.
• Laju’s specialty cuts across origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of bonds (green, infrastructure, Eurobonds), sukuks and commercial papers. Laju is a CFA Charterholder and first-class graduate of Economics from Covenant University, Nigeria
